Support for Towns

Improving the viability and attractiveness of our towns is a corporate priority for the Vale of White Horse District Council.  The economic development team works with town councils, chambers of commerce and business groups in each market town to identify projects that will increase footfall and trade in our town centres.  These projects are detailed in annual action plans for each town.

Alongside this the economic development team undertake annual surveys which include our retail vacancy surveys, footfall reports and other surveys listed below.
