The finalists of the 2019 South and Vale Business Awards were announced at 3pm on Friday 1 February. Full details can be found below.
Each finalist will receive two complimentary tickets to the Awards Evening Ceremony, taking place at Williams Conference Centre on Friday 15 March.

SME of the Year
The SME of the Year Award is sponsored by Milton Park.
Ninety eight per-cent of all businesses based in South and Vale are small or medium enterprises, this was reflected in the fact it was the most popular category for applications, leaving the judging panel with some really tough decisions to make.
As the applications were so strong, we have decided to offer two awards in the category. One for the SME of the Year in South Oxfordshire, and another for SME of the Year in Vale of White Horse. The finalists are:

Large Business of the Year
Large Business of the Year is supported by our lead sponsors Royds Withy King.
Large businesses are incredibly important to the local area, they create high value jobs, innovation, attract investment and create supply chain opportunities for smaller companies. The five finalists are:
Social Responsibility Award
Showing an increasing trend for businesses with social goals, the social responsibility category was the second most popular in terms of overall entries. The 3 businesses that have made it to the final are:
Early Stage Innovation Award
The Early Stage Innovation award has been established with the support of sponsors Focus Oxford Risk Management to recognise the potential of globally important, world changing businesses coming out of South and Vale.

Established Innovation Award
The South and Vale Business Awards also recognise businesses that have established and commercialised their innovation. South and Vale is incredibly well represented as a leading location for space, life sciences and energy clusters, as well as a home to individual entrepreneurs and innovators.

Business Space of the Year Award
The Business Space of the Year Award which recognises the locations that offer businesses great homes, the finalists are:
Business Leader of the Year
Business Leader of the Year is sponsored by HSBC.
The award recognises the local leaders that have driven their business forward, creating benefits for their organisation, employees, and the wider community. The finalists are:
