Vale of White Horse is home to a huge number of innovative businesses, from “Big Science” taking place at Harwell Campus, through to engineers and manufacturers bringing new products and processes to the market.

The MSC R&D Award for Innovation celebrates businesses that have developed new ideas, products and methods that can benefit society. The judging panel will be interested in:

:

  • How the innovation developed
  • An understanding of the process involved
  • Evidence of the value created to the business
  • Evidence of the value created to wider society
  • Additional weighting is given to businesses that deliver a benefit to the Vale community and economy
