The session will help you to consider and understand the main key areas including:
Risk: The session on Risk will use a practical exercise to explain and explore the forecasting and evaluation of financial risks together with the identification of procedures to avoid or minimize their impact and will demonstrate how the Identify-Context and Identify-Risks stages of the MoR Process, combined with the use of the PESTLE and SWOT tools, can be used to develop Risk Strategy across the 4 MoR perspectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: 27% of failing projects in any given year fail because of poor stakeholder engagement or its associated activity, and as a result is a must for our discussion sessions.
The session will review some simple stakeholder identification techniques, including stakeholders interest (backer, blocker), and their power to affect the project’s objectives.
P3M: Explore the P3M family and how Portfolios, Programmes and Projects fit together with business as usual. Do you understand how scope and requirements management affect the P3M family? Do you know how to gauge the influence that the external and internal environment can have on your project? This session will answer all of these questions.
Earned Value Management: More than a number! This session is about extracting the Internal Value from EVM and taking the opportunity to build teams and progress your projects from an informed position.
