The Vale council has a tourism website joint with South Oxfordshire District Council to promote all that Southern Oxfordshire has to offer visitors.
We work in partnership with businesses in the visitor economy on a range of initiatives, for more information contact us.
Following an EU ruling, VisitEngland confirmed to South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils that, while the maintenance of quality standards remains a key concern for visitors, there should be no link between participation in a quality assurance scheme and the listing of an accommodation provider on the website www.southernoxfordshire.com.
We are therefore taking the opportunity to make all local accommodation businesses aware of this free advertising opportunity. We invite those without a listing to contact us to discuss the information we require for the website; and those of you with an existing listing, to review and refresh the information and photograph we have.
